Curriculum PE

As part of our Exeter Primary stars programme we work with over 100 children each day. Our coaches work closely with teachers to help them gain confidence and develop their skills in delivering a wide-ranging and balanced PE curriculum. We have in place, and can create our own schemes of work to grow pupils’ physical literacy (their agility, balance and coordination) as well as their everyday life skills.

PPA

·         We can provide:An affordable solution to PPA cover, using a minimum of Level 2-qualified coaches and staff;

·         A range of sports and games on offer, including hockey, netball, rugby, football, tennis, cricket, rounders and athletics and more

·         Schemes of work and lesson plans based on the National Curriculum

Cross Curricular

We also use football as a vehicle to support pupils who need to improve their numeracy and literacy skills. We use players statistics, stadium attendances and transfer fees a few methods to engage and develop pupils knowledge.

We also use the vast array of football literature available to us, whether it be a simulated post-match conference, written transfer request or half time team talk. These sessions are aimed at pupils who need that little extra support and will also be rewarded by the end of the programme, which tends to last 6-10 weeks.

School sport competitions

Combined with our PE delivery and after school sports clubs, we run a number of inter-schools competitions of your choice, we have previously delivered the likes of handball, football, futsal and netball encouraging pupils to work on the 4 c’s, communication, collaboration, competition and collaboration skills used in everyday life.

Please see the Tournaments section of our site for forthcoming events.

Enrichment days at the Park

We host collapsed curriculum days for schools covering subject areas like numeracy or literacy. We also run healthy eating themed days,
or workshops aimed at improving pupils’ confidence and nurturing their ambitions.
